CULTURE COMMITTEE
To help us embed our Cultural Beliefs, and to guide the business on all things Culture - we have created a Culture Committee. This group has representative membership from our colleagues across the organisation. They will help us to shape the culture of the organisation, be a sounding board for changes within the business and be the voices of their colleagues. We encourage respectful challenge to ways of working where it is believed our practices can be improved to achieve our Purpose.
CHARITY DAY
Every year, all of our colleagues have the opportunity to have a paid day’s leave to complete a charity activity. This can be done individually or as part of a team, and there are no restrictions on what you can do – as long as its for a good cause. It could be a charity that is close to you, or supporting a local cause. Over the years, our teams have got a huge amount of satisfaction from being able to give a little back.

TALENT, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
Developing your career with us. Your development journey begins on day one with access to the Communisis Academy, a full-service learning and development (L&D) portal containing everything from gamified e-learning to podcasts, videos and articles. Topics range from procurement to mentoring and you’re free to explore to create a bespoke approach to development that’s right for you.
In-house learning specialists. Face-to-face workshops hosted by our internal L&D team tour Communisis sites across the UK and Internationally. Workshops are built around key skills essential to career development. Our L&D team continually adapt content so it’s relevant and in-line with current business and professional research.
In addition, we have practitioners trained in SHL Level A & B (ability and personality assessments), MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) as well as DISC and VAKOG.
Future leaders and high potential. We are proud to invest in Management Development Programmes that generate a pipeline of future leaders. Combined with our Succession Planning strategy enabling employees access to opportunities cross Group, we aim to support you in your chosen career path, in line with business need, to take you forward. Employees who are based in England have access to modern apprenticeships through the government run apprenticeship levy. From project management to HR, we cover a variety of disciplines from level 3 up to and including level 7. Apprenticeships are completed during work hours and are fully-funded by Communisis, allowing you to apply theory to on-the-job challenges.
